Ukrainian investment syndicate Toloka.VC has invested $1.4 million in over 20 startups that graduated from the Y Combinator accelerator’s spring 2026 cohort. This deal is part of the syndicate’s strategy aimed at supporting early-stage artificial intelligence technologies.

Toloka.VC reported this to dev.ua.

For the syndicate, this deal is implemented within the framework of the AI-native strategy. It involves portfolio investments in highly promising early-stage startups through exclusive access to AI-native companies that graduate from the world’s leading accelerators. Y Combinator is one of the most famous among them: the combined value of its graduates exceeds $800 billion, and more than 100 projects have already received the status of «unicorns».

This time, Toloka.VC invested in a pool of 21 startups. This list includes:

  • BentoLabs AI — a solution for monitoring and training long-term AI agents;

  • Pairio — software with a voice interface for servicing factory equipment;

  • FinalDose is a developer of «programmable drugs» that read DNA and destroy affected cells;

  • Madrone — cooling systems for data centers based on dew point technology;

  • Cohesion is a 24/7 AI assistant for investors in public equity markets;

  • Foresight — AI-based simulations of human behavior to predict consumer reactions;

  • Dispatch — logistics infrastructure and reusable spacecraft for returning cargo from space;

  • Dayjob — scheduling systems for short-distance freight transportation;

  • PerfectBit — creating structured, correct training data for AI labs;

  • Hedge — AI-native solution in the field of specialized insurance for brokers;

  • Transload — a system for measuring cargo dimensions using existing security cameras;

  • Zibra Labs — distributed computing clusters to reduce the cost of IT infrastructure;

  • Gojiberry AI — AI tools for automating outbound B2B communications;

  • Kinect — AI agents for personalized sales and recommendations in online stores;

  • Astraea — automation of biometrics and clinical research data processing;

  • Klarify is an AI assistant for psychotherapists that automates clinical notes and treatment plans;

  • Lightsprint is a platform for collaborative development and implementation of functions into natural language code;

  • Interfaze — AI model for intelligent document analysis and text recognition;

  • Complir — AI platform for ensuring compliance of physical goods with regulatory requirements;

  • Keyframe Labs — generation of photorealistic emotional video calls with AI in real time;

  • Adialante — mobile and affordable MRI machines for on-site diagnostics.

«This is the second investment this year in startups from Y Combinator graduates, and it is a consistent step for Toloka. Along with our traditional investment strategies — Pre IPO and ScaleUp — we are focusing on our new AI-native strategy, which allows investors to create a portfolio of early-stage companies where AI is the foundation of the product, process, and business model,» commented Taras Kyrychenko, general partner at Toloka.VC, on the deal.

According to him, together with the winter issue, Toloka has already invested in 48 YC graduates for a total of $3.9 million. The syndicate believes that for maximum risk diversification, it is optimal for investors to have about 100 similar early-stage companies in their diversified investment portfolio.

The venture syndicate Toloka.VC was founded in 2023 by Taras Kyrychenko, Igor Shoifot, and Oleksandr Kolb. During its existence, the syndicate has already made 33 investments worth over $35 million in technology companies demonstrating rapid growth.
