Ajax gave a valuable gift to the girl who united a patriotic community of Ukrainians around her in Threads and "surrendered" an Italian Putin fan to the border guards. Monobank also thanked her

A story about an Italian man named Rocco, who was traveling by bus to Ukraine, went viral on social media. Although he was wearing an embroidered shirt given to him by his Ukrainian wife, he praised Putin and spoke disparagingly about Ukraine.

One of the passengers told about it on Threads. Her posts, which described the course of events in detail, attracted the attention of thousands of Ukrainians, and even border guards, who were already waiting to "receive" the Italian Putinist.

What happened?

A Ukrainian woman named Darya wrote in Threads: "Imagine the situation: I'm going to Ukraine from Italy on a double-decker bus. Everyone stopped for 10 minutes. A couple gets out - a Ukrainian woman and an Italian man. He's wearing an embroidered shirt, which, as he said, his lover gave him, and they're going to her house together. I'm wearing headphones, I speak Italian at work. He comes up to me and starts talking. He asks where I'm going, and a lot of other questions. Of course, I keep my distance and answer neutrally. And then he starts telling me what a shitty country we have, what a shitty president we have, and that he respects Putin, and what a great guy he is."

Since the post, which quickly went viral, thousands of Ukrainians have been following the story's outcome directly on Threads. And Darya has been keeping everyone updated along the way.

Border guards were already waiting for the Italian and his Ukrainian wife at the Chop-Zagon checkpoint.

"I'm waiting, I talked to the shift supervisor, a young girl, took pictures of my documents and the Italian. They already knew and were waiting," Darya reported. "The shift supervisor took her and him for questioning."

Ultimately, they were not allowed into Ukraine and banned from entering for 3 years.

The girl's patriotism was appreciated

The girl's patriotic stance was appreciated by monobank and Ajax. By the way, over time it became known that Dariya's father is defending Ukraine. He is currently in the trenches and without communication, so he does not even know about his daughter's heroic act yet.

"How we all traveled by bus with her. It's not boring here at Threads ;)," wrote monobank co-founder Oleg Horokhovsky and showed a card skin for Daria with her phrase, which instantly went viral: "I'll lie down, but it won't come to Ukraine."

The Ajax Systems team also expressed its support for Daria and donated a security system.

The girl was also given certificates in the comments, including Silpo, the Ukrainian mass market clothing brand CHER'17, etc.
