The NATO Innovation Challenge is a hackathon organized by the NATO Innovation Hub (NATO's Joint Command Transformation) and NATO member states. The competition provides an opportunity for academic communities, individual innovators or startups to showcase their skills and aims to expand NATO's collaboration with industry.
Previously, only representatives from NATO member states could participate in the NATO Innovation Challenge. This year, representatives from Ukraine were allowed to participate.
"Enemy KABs are one of the biggest threats to the Ukrainian military on the contact line and Ukrainian cities. It is important that this topic is key for the next NATO hackathon. This proves that we are in the same security context with the Alliance," said Deputy Minister of Defense Valery Churkin.
How to apply?
An application for participation in the hackathon must meet certain criteria, which can be found on the event website. The main thing is that the proposed solution must be relevant to the problem, innovative and realistic. You can register at the link . You can also join online.
Each proposed solution will be evaluated according to the judging criteria:
