In March, the Ukrainian car fleet was replenished with 4,680 battery-powered vehicles (BEVs). Compared to March 2024, demand for electric vehicles increased by 6%, and compared to February 2025, by 4%.
The majority of electric vehicles registered during the month were passenger cars — 4,532, of which 647 were new and 3,885 were used.

Tesla regularly makes it into the top 5 used electric cars that were first registered in Ukraine. For example, in February , Musk's electric cars took first and second place in terms of the number of registrations: TESLA Model Y — 430, TESLA Model 3 — 429. In January , their number was slightly smaller: TESLA Model Y — 341 and TESLA Model 3 — 312.
In total, Ukrainians purchased almost 41,700 used cars from the US in 2024, 36% of which were electric cars. Tesla is the leader, with the first and second places in the top 5 in terms of number, namely: Model 3 — 4,521 and Model Y — 3,984.
In addition, 61,977 passenger electric vehicles (BEVs) were imported to Ukraine last year, most of them new from China (14,635) and used from the USA (17,235).
Recall that Tesla suffered its biggest sales drop in history — 13%. Among the reasons are Musk's political activities and competition from China.
