The founders of the AI-based online psychological support platform Pleso Therapy became the only Ukrainians featured in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list in the Science & Healthcare category. The co-founder of the defense company Himera, Misha Rudominsky, was included in the Manufacturing and Industry category, and the British-Ukrainian investor Kateryna Tarasova was included in the Finance category.
This year, Forbes' selection focuses on young entrepreneurs, researchers, and doctors who are using artificial intelligence to empower patients and solve complex scientific problems.
Pleso Therapy successfully integrates AI into the field of psychotherapy to solve the problem of accurate specialist selection. Algorithms help find a specialist who best matches the patient's request and condition. The project is currently working with users in Central and Eastern Europe, helping people receive relevant help faster and with better quality.
"The inclusion of the founders of Pleso Therapy on the list emphasizes the competitiveness of Ukrainian developments in the European HealthTech market and the importance of digitalization of services in the field of mental health," the company notes.
About Pleso Therapy
In 2021, Oleksandr Bondarev, Oleksiy Yakubenko, and Vitaliy Marchenko founded Pleso Therapy as a mental health marketplace to help residents of Central and Eastern Europe easily find the psychological support they need. The platform uses artificial intelligence algorithms to match a therapist with the most accurate match for the user's needs.
During the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Kyiv startup provided free assistance to refugees and soldiers. Having attracted about $2.4 million in investment, including from TA Ventures and the Google Ukraine Startup Fund, the company entered the markets of Poland, Romania and the United Kingdom, providing sessions for almost 40,000 clients.
The company's revenue is expected to reach $10 million in 2026, more than double last year's figure of $4.1 million.

Investor Kateryna Tarasova
Kateryna Tarasova is a British-Ukrainian private equity investor specializing in building and scaling companies in challenging, high-growth markets. She began her career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs in London, where she advised global corporations on mergers and acquisitions and initial public offerings (IPOs) in the technology, media, and telecommunications sectors.
When Russia escalated its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2023, Kateryna left London to stabilize her family’s agribusiness, which employs over 2,000 people in crop production, sugar production and renewable energy. In the face of the Black Sea blockade, she secured alternative export corridors and took the company into four new European markets, ensuring the uninterrupted supply of critical food to civilians. She later joined the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), where she made direct equity investments worth over $30 million across Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Himera co-founder Misha Rudominsky
Misha Rudominsky founded Himera after the start of the full-scale Russian invasion to meet the urgent needs of the front; its technologies are now used by the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Himera has attracted over $3 million in investment and is going international, targeting NATO markets.
Previously, Rudominsky co-founded Promin Aerospace, a space technology company that develops services for launching small cargoes and has raised $500,000. He is also a member of the Defense Industry Council of Ukraine.
Як нейромережі бачать вільну та незалежну Україну? Тест dev.ua
