The national postal operator plans to fully deploy the Ukrposhta.Pharmacy service by the end of March 2026. The delivery of medicines will cover absolutely all 26,000 settlements served by the company.
In a comment to Interfax-Ukraine, Ukrposhta General Director Igor Smilyansky noted that the service will work not only where there are stationary branches, but also in the most remote corners of the country thanks to mobile crews.
An important nuance is that the medicines will not be stored in post offices, the company will deliver them exclusively for the specific needs of customers. There will be three ways to order the necessary drugs:
Through the company's official website.
By calling the call center.
Directly at the post office.
To ensure proper storage of drugs during transportation, the company is currently completing the purchase of specialized equipment: loggers, thermal bags, as well as cooling and heating elements.
"We are in the process of completing the purchase of all these technologies, and by the end of March we plan to fully deploy them in all corners of Ukraine. And not just in all branches, but in all settlements of Ukraine. That is, to where our mobile branches reach, which is 26 thousand settlements," Smilyanskyi said.
The full-scale launch of the pharmacy service, along with the opening of Ukrposhta.Bank, is included in the list of 10 strategic goals of Igor Smilyansky for the 10th year of his leadership of the company.
Recently, the CEO of Ukrposhta, Ihor Smilyansky, called citizens who work in Ukraine for the minimum wage "sick in the head."
