According to the developers, the RAM-2X operates at the operational-tactical level and is capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 180 kilometers. The drone can stay in the air for more than two hours and has a high degree of automation.
The drone is equipped with a warhead with a warhead weighing 2.7 or 3.5 kilograms. In addition, it is possible to install AI assistants on board.
Ukrspecsystems paid special attention to the variability of communication. RAM-2X supports operation on several radio bands, as well as through Starlink terminals. Thanks to the relay function, the strike vehicle can work in tandem with reconnaissance aircraft, such as SHARK-M. In such a combination, the reconnaissance aircraft is responsible for target designation, which allows for more effective defeat of Russian electronic warfare (EW) equipment.
“Each type of equipment performs its own task. Adhering to the principle of an integrated approach, we develop strike systems built on unified nodes, a common ground station, and a single software. Those who operate our reconnaissance equipment can add a strike component to it that works on the same antennas and stations. This closes the reconnaissance-strike loop with its own forces,” the company explained the concept of the “system of systems.”
In total, these drones have recorded over 450 successful strikes, including the destruction of Russian air defense systems (air defense systems and radars).
