In the first half of 2026, Ukrtelecom increased its total revenue by 12,6% compared to the same period last year, to UAH 2.78 billion. The operator’s EBITDA increased by 50% and exceeded UAH 810 million, and the EBITDA margin reached over 29%.

This is evidenced by data from the company’s official report for the first half of 2026. The main factor driving the growth of financial indicators remains the high demand for non-volatile optical Internet.
Over the past six months, the number of new connections to the optical network among private users has increased by 81% compared to the first half of last year. In the small and medium-sized business segment, the number of new connections has increased by 17%. Accordingly, the operator’s revenues from optical Internet services have increased by 12,5%.
«We are simultaneously building modern optical networks and restoring and modernizing the infrastructure damaged as a result of hostilities in the front-line regions of Kharkiv, Sumy, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk regions and other regions of Ukraine,» said Yuriy Kurmaz, General Director of Ukrtelecom JSC.
The total length of Ukrtelecom’s optical network as of the end of June 2026 exceeded 95,000 km. Currently, 1,430 medical and 2,016 educational institutions are connected to it. In addition, the release of technological premises as a result of abandoning outdated copper infrastructure allowed the operator to increase income from commercial real estate rental by 20% — to over UAH 320 million. The company transferred almost UAH 800 million in taxes and fees to budgets of all levels.
