“Permission has been granted to Cliff Capital Growth Aif VCIC Ltd (Nicosia, Republic of Cyprus) to acquire control over Unit B04 LLC,” the AMCU decision of June 12 states .
LLC "Unit B04" is a company affiliated with UNIT.City and is the owner of the office campus B04 in the park. It is currently owned in equal shares by LLC "Unit Holdings" of entrepreneur Vasyl Khmelnytsky and the above-mentioned Cypriot company.
The beneficiary of Cliff Capital Growth Aif VCIC Ltd is Oleksandr Pylypenko, the founder, main shareholder and president of the Kovalska Group.
In February 2024, the AMCU allowed this Cypriot company to acquire more than 50% of Unit V04 LLC.
"Now, by increasing our share in ownership through a company of shareholders, we intend to become the sole owner of this ultra-modern facility," Pylypenko said then in a comment for Open4Business.
In the fall of 2020, Kovalska began construction of two UNIT.City campuses — B04 and B06. They were completed during the war — in the fall of 2022.
B04 and B06 are business-class offices. Each building has underground parking and a total area of about 20,000 sq. m.
