Unwave introduced three new products on the occasion of its third anniversary. What are the characteristics of the new electronic warfare system, NRC and strike complex?
Unwave presented three new products: the Vikha electronic warfare system, the Terrikon-X ground robotic complex, and the Steppe Wind strike complex.
Unwave presented three new products: the Vikha electronic warfare system, the Terrikon-X ground robotic complex, and the Steppe Wind strike complex.
The presentation of these developments took place as part of the company’s three-year anniversary, its press service told dev.ua.
«Milestone», as the company claims, is the first tactical-operational electronic warfare system of Ukrainian production, created to counter air threats at a much longer range (7–12 km).
The complex uses digital vector generation of interference and a mechanism of precise guidance in three planes, which allows more effective suppression of UAV control and data transmission channels. The system also supports remote control, can integrate with detection and centralized control means, as well as with solutions from other manufacturers.
Terrikon-X is a ground-based robotic system developed in collaboration with Ixian. The NRC can perform a wide range of tasks depending on its configuration.
The complex (shown in the main photo) is designed to perform engineering and logistics missions, transport cargo, evacuate and tow equipment.
It is capable of carrying up to 400 kg of cargo, towing equipment weighing up to 2.5 tons, and operating at a distance of up to 40 km without refueling. The NRC is also the basis for the next modification of the Vikha electronic warfare system with an automatic retractable mast.
The third recently presented development is the Steppe Wind strike complex, implemented jointly with partners from the Sky Composite Engineering company.
The complex provides a quick start without lengthy position preparation, can reach speeds of up to 170 km/h, has the ability to use optical guidance at the final stage of flight and is capable of hitting targets at a tactical depth of up to 90 km. The combat load is up to 5 kg. The complex, as Unwave says, is supplied as fully ready for use and does not require special infrastructure for operation.
The company also added that over the three years of its operation, it has supplied over 50,000 products to the Defense Forces and fulfilled over 600 contracts with military units. The team has grown from five people to over 350 specialists.
