The drone detector "Chuyka" received an update that allows you to broadcast intercepted enemy video to large screens in dugouts

Ukrainian technology company BlueBird Tech has introduced an updated version of its analog video signal detector «Chuyka», which allows you to display the video stream intercepted from enemy FPV drones on external screens directly in command posts and dugouts.
According to the device developers, the new solution is designed to quickly expand the capabilities of the military on the front line. The updated «Chuyka» has an integrated analog video output for a four-pin minijack. This gives operators at headquarters the opportunity to connect any external monitor or TV with an analog video input to the detector.
BlueBird Tech emphasized that the modification of the detector with video output is not currently a mass-produced product. The developers offer this feature as an additional option, which is integrated exclusively for individual orders of departments. At the same time, the device’s equipment remains standard — the supply of additional cables or accessories for connecting screens is not provided.
«We added this interface at the request of military personnel working in command posts. The built-in color display of the „Chuyka“ is quite sufficient for individual work. However, when the intercepted image needs to be seen and analyzed by the entire group, a large external monitor becomes indispensable. The device, which can have remote antennas, operates in a completely passive mode, so displaying the signal on an external screen in no way unmasks the location of the headquarters,» said BlueBird Tech engineers.
The portable three-band analog video signal detector «Chuyka 3.0» scans the air at frequencies of 1.2 GHz, 3.3 GHz and 5.8 GHz. The device is capable of detecting enemy UAVs at a distance of up to 4 km, and a full cycle of automatic airspace scanning takes from 4 to 8 seconds. Previously, this device received official NATO codification and was officially approved for operation by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Previously, BlueBird Tech presented «Chuyka 3.0» in custom colors for specific services. The drone detector is produced in colors for the military, rescuers, and medics.
«I’m ready to spit in the face of anyone who says there is corruption in the interaction between the state and Ukrainian miltech.» A great interview with the co-founder of Blue Bird, which produces Chuyka drone detectors and Grets electronic warfare systems
