The government plans to submit three separate tax bills for consideration by the Verkhovna Rada — the Cabinet of Ministers will resubmit to parliament the so-called «bill on the tax on OLX», which had previously been defeated, as well as bills to increase the military levy and cancel benefits for parcels.
The government plans to submit three separate tax bills for consideration by the Verkhovna Rada — the Cabinet of Ministers will resubmit to parliament the so-called «bill on the tax on OLX», which had previously been defeated, as well as bills to increase the military levy and cancel benefits for parcels.
This was reported by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak on his TV channel, citing his sources in the government.
«Three separate bills are being submitted: separately „platforms“, separately 5% military levy, separately the abolition of benefits for parcels (let me remind you, here we still need changes to the Customs Code),» the People’s Deputy noted.
At the same time, according to him, the government does not yet plan to submit a bill on the introduction of VAT for individual entrepreneurs. «They will try to convince the IMF to remove this requirement,» Zheleznyak added.
He predicts that the parliament will want to consider these draft laws as early as the next plenary week in early April, but, in his opinion, this may cause problems.
Recall that on March 10, the Verkhovna Radawas unable to vote for the «OLX tax» because the parliament could not gather enough votes to adopt Bill No. 14025 on taxation of digital platforms.
