The government has canceled automatic 100% reservation for the defense industry and energy. Under what conditions will it be allowed to reserve all workers?
The government has approved new rules for reserving employees. For defense industry enterprises, a limit of up to 95% of those liable for military service has been set, and the automatic 100% reservation for the defense industry and energy is being canceled. However, companies will be able to receive full reservation with separate approval. The government is also preparing a new mechanism by which an enterprise will be able to reserve all employees if some of them regularly volunteer for military service.
The government has approved new rules for reserving employees. For defense industry enterprises, a limit of up to 95% of those liable for military service has been set, and the automatic 100% reservation for the defense industry and energy is being canceled. However, companies will be able to receive full reservation with separate approval. The government is also preparing a new mechanism by which an enterprise will be able to reserve all employees if some of them regularly volunteer for military service.
This was announced by Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky.
If a company needs to book more than the set limit, it can contact the Coordination Center. To do this, it will need to explain why the company will not be able to operate normally without additional employees.
The status of critical enterprises will also be retained for companies that depend on defense and the economy. These include, in particular, arms manufacturers, energy companies, telecommunications operators, logistics and utility companies.
But the government will review the industry and regional criteria by which businesses are deemed critical and will check for possible abuses.
Separately, the government is developing a mechanism for companies whose employees will regularly volunteer for military service. For people who agree to serve under such a mechanism, they plan to provide several guarantees:
They will know in advance how long the service will last.
They will keep their jobs.
They will also keep their salaries.
It is not yet known how many employees the company will have to send to the service. The detailed conditions will be developed by the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Economy together with business representatives. The government plans to approve them by December 1.
Previously, dev.ua wrote that the Cabinet planned to adopt new rules for booking employees by the end of the week.
