Scout, floating mine and aircraft carrier: Ukrainian engineers have developed the river drone "Ursula"

According to the company, it is a compact unmanned surface boat about 1 meter long. Its versatile design allows it to perform several tasks at once:

• "reconnaissance officer - monitors rivers, canals, coastal areas";
• floating mine - capable of carrying an explosive charge to destroy enemy targets;
• aircraft carrier — transports and launches FPV drones (attack or reconnaissance) directly from the water.

This drone is ideal for sabotage and reconnaissance operations in difficult conditions of the river network and frontline water areas.

River drones began to be developed in 2023 at the request of the Ukrainian military, which needed to counter the rotations of Russian troops on the islands on the Dnieper.
