According to DownDetector, a significant portion of outages are once again being recorded on the American continent.

.As a reminder, AWS experienced a massive outage on the morning of October 20. In the afternoon, the company announced that the issue had been resolved. At the time, Jess Weatherbed, quoted by The Verge, said that the cause of the outage was still unclear. The company confirmed that it was «investigating elevated error rates and latency for many AWS services in the US-EAST-1 region,» although the problems also affected services in other regions of the world. According to the AWS status panel, several services were «impacted» by operational issues.
