The technology is based on photoplethysmography (PPG) — it records changes in the color of blood under the skin during heart contractions. The user only needs to place their finger on the camera and follow simple instructions.
Measurement results are stored in a personal account, which allows users to track changes in their condition, as well as respond to signals from the body in a timely manner.
"We want to make a healthy lifestyle and self-care more accessible, simpler, and closer to everyone. Thanks to such an everyday and familiar thing as a smartphone camera, application users will be able to obtain objective information," says Helsi CEO Yevhen Donets.
The new feature is built on proprietary algorithms developed in collaboration with medical professionals. This allows you to not only record numbers, but also provide useful interpretations and recommendations that can help support physical and psycho-emotional health.
