AI Film Festival Held in Ukraine: Which Films Shared the Prize Fund of UAH 640,000?

The award ceremony for the winners of the Megogo AI Film Festival took place at the Kyiv Zhovten cinema during the closing of the 16th Odessa International Film Festival (OMF), Mediasat reports .

The jury determined the Grand Prix winner, winners in 5 main nominations, and 5 laureates. The total prize fund was 640,000 hryvnias.

The festival's Grand Prix and a cash prize of UAH 240,000 went to Yevhen Chernyshov for his work "Session" — a short session with a psychiatrist, in which a guy named Dave talks about what's bothering him. Last year, the author won the "bronze" award.

Winners in the main nominations: each of them received 80,000 UAH

• The victory in the "Best Cinematographer" nomination went to Volodymyr and Valeria Pridorogin with their short film "The Path", where they use the metaphor of an individual life path to understand the fluidity of existence.
• The creative agency won in the Best Animation nomination
  Adshot Creative with the film "Night Shift" - the internal dialogue of a person who faces death and other people's pain every day.
• In the "Screenplay" category, the best work was Maria Zozula's "Profession." This is a film about childhood, where a profession appears as a dream and at the same time as the first step into the adult world.
• The award for "Vertical Format" went to the creator amheus for his collection of absurd stories "Synthetics", which reflect life from a funny and at the same time disturbing angle.
• The award in the "AI Vision: UKRAINE" category went to Olga Moroz for the film "Silent Water - Deep," an atmospheric story about Kupala Night, where an ancient legend comes to life.

The following were awarded the status of festival laureates:

• Children's YouTube channel "Upodobayka" - "Shield from anxiety."
• Igor Mukomela — "Polish Mysteries".
• Kurwa Matj — "Polish Techno."
• Ant3Dstudio — "Knox through consciousness."
• The Intellect trick is "Vroom Vroom."
