Ukraine has created a "Bagnet" interceptor drone to combat "shaheeds"
The developers claim that the complex consists of 85% Ukrainian components, and production will be fully localized in the near future.

According to "Military", the drone "Bagnet" is already used in several units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine and has confirmed results in hitting air targets. It is capable of operating at an altitude of up to 5 km, and its flight range is 40 km. The design takes into account the increased speed of modern "shaheeds" - up to 220-250 km/h.
The Bayonet is equipped with a 1 kg warhead with a shock core, which allows it to destroy enemy drones in the air and minimize the risk of falling debris. The drone's software provides automatic takeoff, return if the target is not detected, and plots the optimal route for interception. Engineers are working on implementing final guidance for full automation of the complex, which will simplify control to a "fire and forget" format. This will significantly increase the effectiveness of mobile air defense fire groups.
In addition, the developers are creating a system of "sleeping" boards, which will allow one operator to remotely control several stations, each of which will have up to five interceptors.
Recall that we previously published an article dedicated to interceptor drones that can shoot down "shaheeds" .
