A website for monitoring air threats in real time has been launched in Ukraine — with timelapse and OSINT visualization of drones and missiles
The Ukrainian OSINT airspace monitoring system «Kontur» has launched a full-fledged website — kontur.systems. Now you can monitor the air situation not only through the Telegram bot, but also in a browser with a new interface for PCs.
The Ukrainian OSINT airspace monitoring system «Kontur» has launched a full-fledged website — kontur.systems. Now you can monitor the air situation not only through the Telegram bot, but also in a browser with a new interface for PCs.
The map displays much more than just alerts. The service visualizes the movement of Shahed kamikaze strike drones and reconnaissance UAVs, cruise missiles (Caliber, Kh-101), supersonic and anti-ship missiles (Onyx), hypersonic (Dagger, Zircon) and ballistic missiles (Oreshnik, Iskander-M). Separately displayed are the takeoffs of MiG-31Ks — carriers of the Daggers — and the flight directions of guided aerial bombs towards specific cities. Plus, an up-to-date map of air alerts by regions and districts with the integration of official notification sources.
The web version, according to developers at Threads, has received two key new features compared to the Telegram bot: an optimized interface for viewing on a large screen and a timelapse function — the ability to view the history of target movement and the dynamics of alarms over a certain period.
The developers emphasize: «Kontur» is an OSINT visualization tool based on open source text messages. The coordinates of targets are approximate and are calculated by an algorithm based on mentions of settlements and directions — this is not radar data. During an alarm, you should focus on official signals and head for cover.
