«More „bold“ targets — more points. More points — more drones for the unit. It seems like everything is fine — more resources are received by those who do their job more efficiently, right? But if our efficiency has increased so much, why are we losing cities and villages? And it’s all very simple — because it’s no longer a CRI for a pilot. There is no CRI „to hold Pokrovsk“ — it’s more correct to say that there is no CRI „to prevent Pokrovsk from being bypassed from the flanks and to take control of all logistics with drones“. They won’t give points and drones for that, you understand?», — he expressed his opinion in a column on the «Focus» website.
He also quoted one of his military comrades, who said that «the eBall system was very necessary, but at some point it ate itself.»
According to Vitaliy Deynega, this situation requires amendments to the functioning of the e-Points system.
«With the weight of „ePoints“, we create a kind of „financial pyramid“. Because if we have determined that we give a lot for target A, and not for B, then everyone will rush to hunt for targets of type A. But the question is whether we will be able to provide these units with the required number of drones in accordance with the points they have earned? And how many points should we give for this or that target, and is this assessment the same for different sectors of the front? And will the remaining budget be enough to provide the unit with the same NRCs that save the blood of the infantry, but are intelligence material? Because priority tasks are now set not by the commander and the combat situation, but by the coefficient table,» he added, noting that drones also perform many important tasks for which they do not give points, but which are important for the stability of the line.
As dev.ua wrote, the 3rd Assault Brigade was the first to exchange «e-Points» for drones on the Brave1 marketplace.
Previously, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov called the e-Bala system «the magic of modern digital gamification,» but received a lot of criticism from the military in his comments.
In September, the government expanded the «Drone Army.Bonus» program, so e-Points will now be awarded for the work of the NRC.
