Palantir Gotham is an AI-based analytics platform from the American company Palantir Technologies. Designed specifically for government agencies, it collects, integrates, and analyzes large volumes of disparate data. It is used for intelligence and counter-terrorism, law enforcement, and military.
Bloomberg Terminal is a system that provides financial professionals with access to the Bloomberg Professional service. It allows them to analyze financial markets in real time, trade, receive news, and communicate in a secure network.
According to the Gridline website, this free tool can be useful for analysts, researchers, and journalists. It pulls data from over 60 APIs, all of which are updated in real time.
It is noted that in one interactive workspace you can see open intelligence (OSINT), country risk assessment, real-time conflict monitoring, commodity markets, and geopolitical AI.
According to the instructions on the site, to open the control panel, you need to run the tool in a browser without any downloads or registration.
The vibecoder shared the creation process on Reddit. According to him, he used Claude Code with a Max subscription to develop Gridline. The entire process took him about 2 weeks, with basic programming knowledge.
“I first started by brainstorming how the interface should work. I wanted a modular, customizable UI with the ability to add apps. I pitched my idea to Claude and asked him to create a detailed developer prompt. After reviewing it and making sure it covered everything I needed, I tasked Claude Code with the task. The result was pretty good on the first try. Then I manually adjusted some colors and cards to make the interface look exactly how I imagined it,” wrote Reddit user @fuckletoogan.
The vibecoder also used elements from 21st.dev, which he found to be very useful and of very high design quality, which he could "feed" to Claude.
"I wanted to create a system where adding new applications was as simple as adding a file to the modules folder. So all apks are now implemented as easily as possible. The same goes for map layers."
To build apps, Reddit user Claude Code tasked them with testing APIs and making sure they work, as well as seeing what they return before adding a module.
"In fact, that's how I built the basic software."
One of the users noted in the comments that the author of the project forgot to add that it was copying an existing project. To which @fuckletoogan assured: "This is a completely unique development. My project contains much more data, has a fundamentally different structure and layout."
