Vibecoder ran Minecraft inside GTA V on iPhone — using Claude Opus 5.5 AI
A developer and modder under the nickname 0xProbability demonstrated an unusual experiment: he launched Minecraft directly inside the mobile port of GTA V for iPhone. At the same time, the entire development process — from writing the modification code to testing it — was completely performed by Anthropic's Claude Opus 5.5 artificial intelligence.
According to 0xProbability, he didn't even touch his smartphone while the AI agent independently controlled the Ender Dragon flying over Los Santos.

How did GTA V appear on the iPhone?
The very ability to run GTA V on an Apple smartphone was provided by another developer - a student at the Swiss Polytechnic Institute EPFL under the nickname C22, writes Tom's Hardware.
He created a native port of GTA V for iOS based on a modified version of the game designed to run in web browsers. The port works as a full native iOS app and supports multiplayer play.
Port specifications:
on the iPhone 17, the game runs at an impressive 50–60 FPS;
the game consumes only 1.1 GB of RAM;
compatibility with devices running iOS 15+ or macOS 14+ (on Apple Silicon chips), preferably with 8 GB of RAM or more.

Before porting the modification to the iPhone, 0xProbability experimented with the browser version of GTA V, adding not only mobs and characters (in particular Steve), but also full-fledged block-building mechanics.
"It's just crazy that today you can run it in a regular browser. Previously, they were only for simple .io games, and in 2026 you can play heavy 3D games on them," the vibecoder shared on his social networks.

Despite the impressive result, the community's greatest attention was drawn to the level of AI autonomy. The Claude Opus 5.5 model demonstrated the ability to independently write complex modification code, integrate it, and pass the testing stage without direct human intervention.
