The frequency of their use is growing at a similar pace: every week, about 180,000 sessions of these agents are recorded within the system, meaning that on average, about 25,000 operations are performed daily.

Many of the most popular agents perform routine staff duties: for example, compiling reports on the results of operations, preparing official staff assessments, analyzing images, and reviewing financial or strategic documents.
Workers are creating their own tools directly online, developing AI agents to automate everyday digital work without the need for traditional programming knowledge.
However, some experts express concern about the rapid implementation of automated tools, citing cases outside the Pentagon where AI agents, due to a lack of proper control, deleted system data, destabilized services, or took actions without direct consent from the operator.
