«I didn’t expect this from myself, but to be honest — I don’t want Python at all. I read notes, watch lectures — and there’s silence in my head. It’s like I’m looking into the void. The names of the methods don’t evoke any associations — for example, what is „pop“? And why is a tuple a „tuple“?» — Kuzhel wrote in her post.
She added that she had taken diligent notes, but they hadn’t helped much either.

Some IT experts advised trying other programming languages, such as Scala. Others noted that when learning a new programming language, you don’t necessarily have to understand «everything at once» and that understanding new information can take a long time.
Recall that Python was previously named the programming language of 2024 by TIOBE, a company that calculates the monthly popularity index of programming languages. Last year, Python gained 9,3% in this ranking, which is significantly more than other programming languages — Java (+2.3%), JavaScript (+1.4%), and Go (+1.2%).
