Ukrainian IT product company Vchasno Group has invested in Uzbek business process automation platform Hippo.uz. What is the deal amount?
The Vchasno press release notes that the Hippo product combines electronic document management, warehouse automation, and data exchange between suppliers and retail.
The investment amount is $1 million. Hippo.uz will use the funding to scale the business, launch new products and features, and expand its customer base.
«We studied various markets and concluded that Uzbekistan is demonstrating rapid growth in the digital business services category. We are investing in Hippo because we see a strong team, products that the market needs, and the ability to become a local leader with the help of our experience and resources,» commented Mykola Palienko, co-founder and CEO of Vchasno Group.
He said that Vchasno aims to «not just grow at home,» but to seek promising technological services abroad and strengthen its expertise through collaboration.
«Digital supply chains, integration with banks, and a single platform are no longer a trend, but a necessity for business. Thanks to the support of partners from Ukraine, we will be able to offer comprehensive solutions for retail and accelerate development in the regions of Uzbekistan,» said Hippo.uz co-founders Ilkhom Makhmudov and Mukhtar Salayev.
In the winter of 2025, Vchasno Group invested in the platform for running small and medium-sized businesses «Yataks». The company joined the services of digital solutions for business «Vchasno» under the name «Vchasno.Report».
