He reported this in an interview on the Ukraїner YouTube channel. According to Veres, his rhetoric in communicating with NRK producers has changed quite a bit. He added that he has talked to many producers and asked them for services, and has become very friendly with some of them.
«But there are those who have 'caught the star'. We simply stop communicating with them. Or I say: 'Guys, it won’t be the way you want it. It will be the way the army needs it. The army is us. And that’s it. If you can’t, leave it all, go home, plant potatoes'», — said the commander of «K-2.»
He added that if a «good» NRK for UAH 500,000 has not traveled even 5 km, the manufacturer should immediately send its craftsmen to refine the product.
«And 90% of people hear me. I can be anything — very kind or strict. But I am still the commander of a huge military unit, and I have people behind me, money behind me, and responsibility behind me. This is a big difference», — noted Kyrylo Veres.
Earlier, the commander of «K-2» spoke about the experience of successful evacuations of wounded soldiers using ground robotic complexes and called for it to be scaled up. He said that he wanted to draw the attention of other commanders to this topic, and for this purpose he registered an account on X (Twitter) and promised to write posts on social networks more often.
Now Kyrylo Veres said that his media campaign was aimed at delivering this message to soldiers, company commanders, and «battalion commanders, who are listened to by brigade commanders».
«About 20 different units have contacted us over the entire time simply for advice… Now I can say that we already have 50 units in the country that are engaged in ground work. By the end of the year, there will be 150 units», — Veres believes.
He added that «robots will drive and robots will save people and robots will fight».
