From today, Ukrainians aged 40+ can receive 2,000 UAH for a health screening. How to do it through "Diya" and more
Starting today, «Diia» will launch the «Health Screening» service for Ukrainians who are 40 years old or older.
Starting today, «Diia» will launch the «Health Screening» service for Ukrainians who are 40 years old or older.
«The program helps identify the risks of diseases at an early stage or prevent diseases. This includes cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and mental health,» the press service of «Diia» said in a statement.
Screening includes, among other things:
- questionnaire and assessment of individual risks;
- physical examination (blood pressure measurement, assessment of heart rate and rhythm, anthropometry);
- laboratory tests showing the functioning of the heart, blood vessels and kidneys;
- individual recommendations regarding lifestyle and health status, and if necessary, prescription of medication or referral for further examinations or treatment.
For those citizens who do not use «Diia», there is an opportunity to apply for a plastic «Diia.Card» at a partner bank and contact the nearest ASN with this issue.
Detailed information about whether a specific state, municipal, or private clinic participates in this program can be found at this link on the Ministry of Health website .
At the same time, if a citizen already has an existing «Diia.Card», there is no need to get a new one specifically for this program. «Within seven days, 2,000 UAH will be credited to it, which can be used for health screening,» the press service of «Diya» assures.
Before that, the government approved a resolution on the implementation of the «Health Screening» program .
