The company said it will begin restoring access to these models on Wednesday, July 1, TechCrunch reports .
On the eve of the US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said that Anthropic «agreed to proactively identify and address security risks associated with the models and to work diligently with the US government on protocols, standards and releases for Mythos, Fable and future models, and to inform the US government of any malicious activity.»
Recall that in mid-June, Anthropic was forced to urgently block access to its flagship AI models Fable 5 and Mythos 5 at the request of the US government.
Later, information emerged that the White House had allegedly restricted access to the new Anthropic AI model due to fears that Fable 5 would be hacked by the Chinese.
Meanwhile, Claude Mythos 5 recently became available to over 100 companies and institutions, and the US government has somewhat relaxed restrictions on this Anthropic model.
