Vodafone Ukraine and AST SpaceMobile announced the signing of the relevant Memorandum at the MWC Barcelona exhibition.
Using the AST SpaceMobile constellation of satellites at low
in low-Earth orbit (LEO), Vodafone Ukraine plans to provide its customers with stable high-speed internet even where ground infrastructure is absent or damaged.

The companies plan to work out in detail all stages of the commercial launch: from marketing strategy and use of radio frequencies to improving the customer experience. The cooperation will take place according to strict technical standards and in accordance with regulatory norms to ensure the sustainable development of the service on the Ukrainian market.
In addition, the companies emphasized in a press release that the Memorandum
defines the general framework of cooperation and is not a binding commercial contract: "The implementation of the project depends on the results of technical tests, the signing of final agreements and obtaining the necessary permits from regulatory authorities."
