«Ukrposhta» will start payments under the program from December 4. «We do not focus on whether it is worth it or not, but we focus on who, where and how we will pay these funds», — Smilyansky emphasized.
He added that the operator focuses on 2 million Ukrainians who receive pensions and social benefits from Ukrposhta; pensioners over 60 years old and people with disabilities of groups 1 and 2.
What is required to receive UAH 1,000 at Ukrposhta? According to Ihor Smilyansky, nothing. He noted that the users who have the right to receive this assistance are already on the lists submitted by the Ministry of Social Policy and the Ministry of Economy. All that is required is to wait for the postman’s visit, or to visit the «Ukrposhta» branch and get help with payments.
Is it possible to receive «Winter is-Support» in cash at «Ukrposhta»? The program does not provide for cash payments, but the operator will help spend these funds (in full or in part) on utility bills, mobile top-up, purchase of food and household chemicals, subscription to domestic publications, and ordering Ukrainian-made medicines.
«In stationary branches of Ukrposhta, you can also use this support to donate to ZSU or to our joint charity fund with KSHE, which helps ZSU, schools, hospitals and animal shelters», — - clarified the CEO of Ukrposhta.
He noted that the company has programmed its terminals in stationary branches to participate in the «National Cashback» program, which makes it possible to use them to pay utility bills, purchase a specified list of goods or services.
