«Development of Impulse is the result of the painstaking work of the Department of Innovation Activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the team of the Center for Scaling Technological Solutions. We sought to create a system that would be not only functional, but also convenient to use. We took into account all the needs of servicemen to make their work as effective as possible», — said the project manager of the information and communication system (ICS) «Impulse».
It is noted that the system significantly reduces bureaucratic delays and enables the rapid generation of documents necessary to ensure the functioning of a military unit. It also allows you to see and control the current state of affairs in structural units.
Among the advantages of «Impulse» are the exchange of information between different units and the release of time for performing combat missions.
«It [the system] will help to do the work much faster: instead of five people who are engaged in accounting, two or three will be enough. This way we will be able to free up resources to strengthen the country’s defense. And it will also minimize errors at different levels», — said Valery Churkin, commander of the Center for Scaling Technological Solutions at the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to him, currently the Army+ application for military personnel has certain problems that prevent it from being used conveniently, and integration with the Impulse system should eliminate these difficulties.
