$500,000 in grants for Web3 solutions: Web3 Sustainability Lab program launched in Ukraine. Who can participate?

Today, Ukraine launched the Web3 Sustainability Lab, a program with a grant fund of up to $500,000 aimed at supporting innovators, students, veterans, and small business owners who are creating Web3 solutions for the country's future.

Web3 Resilience Labs is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Digital Affairs, Binance, and Lviv IT Cluster. It will work in partnership with the Web3 Institute, which will provide:

  • research support;
  • expert mentoring;
  • industry validation for selected projects.

The following can become participants in the program:

  • students who are gaining skills in the field of Web3 and building a career;
  • veterans seeking to retrain and launch their own technology projects;
  • entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial teams who create applied and scalable digital solutions.

Up to $25,000 in grants are available for each project. These should be early-stage ideas and practical Web3 solutions that can strengthen the country's digital infrastructure, economic resilience, and technological independence.

Key features of the program:

  • financial grants for promising Web3 and digital solutions;
  • mentoring support from Ukrainian and international experts;
  • expert support from the Ministry of Digital Transformation and AI Sandbox in accordance with state priorities;
  • interaction with Lviv IT Cluster to attract the most active tech community in Ukraine.

Projects will be selected through a combined evaluation process, in which public voting will play an important role to determine the most impactful and relevant ideas. This approach ensures transparency, community participation, and support for solutions that truly meet the needs of Ukrainians.
