The most visited Wikipedia page this year was the query "Dead in 2024" with a list of deceased people - it was viewed more than 44 million times.
This is reported in the ranking of the most popular pages in the English language of the "World Encyclopedia" for 2024.
People were also actively interested in US politics. Thus, Vice President Kamala Harris and the 2024 US presidential election came in second and third place in the ranking with almost 29 million and 28 million views, respectively. President-elect Donald Trump took fifth place.
Instead, ChatGPT, the article about which was the most visited last year, fell in the ranking to 12th place.
