In one week, Ukrainian drones attacked 552,000 square meters of Wildberries warehouses. This is about 10% of all the company's logistics facilities.
This is reported by the Russian Kommersant, based on an analysis of open data.
This estimate takes into account the strikes on warehouses in Elektrostal (Moscow Region), Kotovsk (Tambov Region), Nevinnomyssk (Stavropol Krai), and Krasnodar. Experts estimate the value of the damaged Wildberries property at 60 billion rubles.
According to the publication's sources, 444,000 square meters of warehouse space, or about 8% of all logistics capacities of the marketplace, cannot be used after the drone strikes. The warehouse complex in Kotovsk, according to the publication, continues to operate.
The publication's sources in the real estate market estimate the construction of warehouses of the same size (excluding equipment) at 35.5 billion rubles. According to experts, it will be faster to restore damaged facilities than to build new ones from scratch.
At the same time, experts emphasize that Ukrainian drones hit key logistics hubs of the marketplace. In particular, the affected center in Krasnodar is Wildberries' main hub for supplying goods to southern Russia.
According to experts, this could lead to Wildberries abandoning its usual scheme of shipping from its own warehouses in favor of shipping directly from sellers' warehouses. In addition, the marketplace is likely to rent new premises and redirect product flows to other regions.
Recall that in the last week alone, Ukrainian drones attacked the company's facilities twice: on July 18, logistics centers in Elektrostal near Moscow and Kotovsk, Tambov Region, were hit, and on July 22, warehouses in Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk were hit.
