According to GUR, the attack caused large-scale disruptions in the company’s operations. In particular, the main remote customer service channel was disrupted, and partial problems with the payment system were also recorded.
In addition, Ukrainian cyber experts created an additional load on Wildberries contact centers.
After the attack, according to intelligence, the Russian marketplace received massive complaints from customers, including the inability to pay for purchases.
The GUR reported the attack on August 15.
In recent weeks, the Russian marketplace has also been subject to physical attacks. The Ukrainian Armed Forces' drone forces reported hitting Wildberries facilities in Russia.
According to the SBS commander, Ukrainian drones hit about 20 company facilities, more than half of which, according to him, burned down.
Russian Forbes estimated Wildberries' losses from the attacks at more than $2.7 billion.
