Ukrainian mobile application Yummo, which helps parents form eating habits in children, will be released next year

Ukrainian startup Yummo, which creates a platform that helps parents of children from six months old form healthy eating habits, is preparing to release its mobile application in 2026.

The startup’s CEO, Alla Vasilyna, told AIN.UA about this. The Yummo team includes doctors, nutritionists, developers, designers, and marketers.

«The idea to create an app came when my son and I were going through a difficult journey of complementary feeding. Faced with conflicting information and a lack of clear recommendations, I realized that I needed to create a space where everything would be collected in one place. That’s how Yummo was born to help other families go through this stage more easily», Vasilyna noted on the project website.

The Yummo mobile application allows you to:

  • check products for benefits, risks, allergenicity and safe serving;
  • receive recipes based on the principles of the Harvard «healthy eating plate»;
  • study educational materials that explain the principles of complementary feeding and the development of eating habits;
  • use an AI assistant with tips and guides.

The startup has already received $250,000 in funding from Busy Rebel, co-founded by Alla Vasilyna. The money went to create an MVP, a content ecosystem, and a foundation for scaling.

Yummo is in the pre-seed stage, and the release of the mobile application is planned for 2026. The startup is currently looking for strategic investors to expand the team, scale the product, and implement AI technologies.

Recall that earlier, Ukrainians released the Personal AI Nutritionist application, which helps count calories and eat a balanced diet.
