The Cabinet is preparing a resolution on maintaining a list of prohibited software and network equipment. This initiative is being considered separately from the draft law from the People's Deputies
Only this morning dev.ua reported that the Rada had registered a draft law on the prohibition of the use and distribution of hostile software products and hostile information means. And now it became known that the Cabinet of Ministers is preparing a resolution — and this is a separate initiative from the people's deputies — on approving the procedure for forming and maintaining an open list of software and communication (network) equipment prohibited for use.

And now it became known that the Cabinet of Ministers is preparing a resolution — and this is a separate initiative from the people's deputies — on approving the procedure for forming and maintaining an open list of software and communication (network) equipment prohibited for use.
This Procedure defines the procedures for forming and maintaining an open list of prohibited software and communication (network) equipment, inclusion in List, adding relevant information to it.
The List includes software and network equipment on the following grounds:
the owner, ultimate beneficiary, author of the software or the person who owns the property rights to the equipment is an individual or legal entity against whom sanctions have been applied in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Sanctions";
or if international sanctions in which Ukraine participates have been applied to these persons;
by court decision;
other grounds specified by law.
The following data is entered into the List:
name of the software and/or communication (network) equipment;
name (given name and surname of the individual entrepreneur) manufacturer of software and/or communication (network) equipment;
other additional data allowing identification of the relevant software and/or communication (network) equipment (e.g. version, serial numbers, etc.);
the reason for inclusion in the List;
date of inclusion in the List;
in case of editing information or excluding the corresponding record from lists, date of exclusion from the List or date of editing of information.
The information is entered within 5 working days from the moment of imposition of sanctions and/or receipt of the relevant notification from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The list is open, publicly available and public information. in the form of open data, which is provided free of charge, and is subject to publication on the official website of the State Service for Special Communications, the Unified State Web Portal of Open Data.
If the draft law requires consideration by the relevant committees of the Verkhovna Rada, and then its adoption by the people's deputies, the Cabinet of Ministers may approve this resolution in the near future.
At least the State Service for Special Communications requests this to be done within 3 days: "Given the need for urgent resolution of the issues identified in the draft resolution, we ask that the draft resolution be approved within three days."
