« In total, about 15-18,000 IT specialists are reserved in Ukraine. We are talking about all types of bookings and criticality — residency at „Diіa.City“, direct contracts with the Ministry of Defense, etc.,» the cluster notes.

The total number of IT professionals in Ukraine, according to community data, is estimated at approximately 330,000.

The cluster estimated that 8-12% of IT specialists currently serve in the Armed Forces or other military structures.

Earlier, President & CEO of AltexSoft Oleksandr Medovoy said at the Ukraine Tech Conference that 15,000 specialists in Ukraine have reservations. dev.ua reported that IT is among those industries where the number of «reserved» is the smallest — about 2%.
