Solana Labs CEO Anatoly Yakovenko said that he is comfortable programming with the help of Anthropic’s Claude artificial intelligence.
«AI has become a great force multiplier for experts. Now I can just watch Claude do his job and almost feel when something goes wrong,» Yakovenko said of his experience working with AI agents.
«If people are sitting with me in a meeting and I’m not paying attention to them, it’s because I’m looking after Claude,» he added.
Solana announced $2.85 billion in annual revenue earlier this month, largely driven by its cryptocurrency trading platforms, TechCrunch reported. The company also launched the first Solana exchange-traded fund (ETF), which raised nearly $70 million in a single day.
Yakovenko attributed the success to the growing recognition of cryptocurrency, especially from the traditional financial industry.
«If you work in the finance department, you understand cryptocurrency much faster. Financiers are constantly dealing with settlement risks. They are constantly dealing with banking risks,» Yakovenko said.
Recall that Anthropic recently launched a web version of its AI programming assistant Claude Code, which allows developers to create and manage multiple AI agents directly in their browser, without the need for a terminal.
