The non-profit organization "Blood Agents" has announced the official release of a mobile application for blood donors, which is now available for download on iOS and Android. The new digital product allows users to collect interactive rewards for donations, save visit history, plan future procedures, and receive notifications about urgent search for donors of the desired group.

The Blood Agents team announced the release of the mobile application on their official social networks.

The main goal of the application is to simplify the interaction between blood centers and donors and make the process of regular donation systematic and convenient. In addition to recording personal activity, the service helps to quickly find the nearest blood donation points, follow important news, and track current needs for blood components.

In 2025, it was reported that the technical development of the project was carried out by the EPAM team together with students from the EPAM Campus direction. Mentors and beginners from DevOp, Backend, Frontend and business analysis were involved in the creation of the product, working according to a full-fledged Agile methodology.

The application architecture is built on the REST API and the cross-platform React Native framework. The developers chose PostgreSQL as the relational database, and the project’s cloud infrastructure was successfully migrated to GCP Cloud.

"We’ve been waiting for this for a long time. You can add previous donations, plan future ones, collect achievements, receive notifications about donor searches, and much more. The volunteers worked very hard," the NGO "Blood Agents" notes.

The application is available for download on iOS and Android .

The website of the public organization "Blood Agents" states that it has been developing a culture of regular and conscious donation in Ukraine since 2015. Starting with the volunteer project "Wednesdays in Okhmatdyt", the initiative has grown to systematic shifts in seven blood centers in Kyiv, Dnipro, Odessa, and Lviv. Over 16,000 donors have donated blood during the organization’s activities.
