Developer creates macOS app that monitors charging stations without internet via Bluetooth

A Ukrainian developer created Power App, a native application that allows you to monitor the status of EcoFlow, Bluetti, and other charging stations directly from your Mac without being tied to the cloud or an internet connection.
With the return of blackout schedules, the topic of autonomous power supply has once again become critical for many Ukrainian professionals. Most Mac users work from battery stations, but official mobile applications from manufacturers have significant drawbacks: they force you to constantly be distracted by your phone and often depend on cloud servers and stable mobile Internet, which quickly disappears during blackouts, explains Reddit user Oleg and the application developer.
To solve this problem, the developer created a Power App (written in Swift / SwiftUI). The application connects to the stations directly via Bluetooth (BLE), providing monitoring even in the absence of a network.
Power App is in beta testing, and here's what you can do with the app right now:
quick search and auto-connection via BLE (without manual pairing);
real-time monitoring — charge percentage, current input/output power (Input/Output Watts), temperature, port status;
widgets for macOS (WidgetKit): you can pin the charging station directly to the desktop or in the widget panel;
Multiple devices: ability to add stations to favorites and switch between them.
The application currently supports (or is in the process of adapting to the protocols):
EcoFlow: River 2 (Base, Max, Pro) and Delta 2 (Base, Max, Pro) series;
Anker: SOLIX series (C300, C800, C1000, F2000/767, F3800) and Prime;
JK-BMS: for custom LiFePO4 assemblies on JK boards.
The developer is looking for testers with different hardware
Since each manufacturer uses its own packet structure and BLE protocol, the developer needs the help of the community to test the application on different station models.
Main tasks for testers:
check the correctness of detecting a specific model via Bluetooth;
verify the accuracy of the reading of the remaining charge watts and consumption/charging;
test connection stability after Mac wakes from sleep;
share ideas for new functionality (for example, adding an icon to the Menu Bar, low battery notifications, or managing AC/DC ports).
You can download the build (.dmg) and learn installation details on the Power App website .
The developer shared a link to the repository on GitHub, but it was unavailable at the time of publication, so we're adding a link to his profile. You can also leave feedback and report bugs in the Reddit discussion.
