"The application itself seems quite simple, but it only seems that way, even with the help of AI, I wrote it for quite a long time, about a year, probably a little at a time (Not vibecoding — I’ve been in iOS development for 10 years). So I would like to invite you to try it and, if you have the time and opportunity, write feedback, or maybe have ideas for what to add/improve," shared a Reddit user under the nickname Little-Secret9705.
The main idea behind Home Rate is to create a user-friendly real estate review platform similar to hotel ratings on Google Maps or product ratings on marketplaces. In the app, you can select any address on the map or through search to view real-life stories from residents, ratings, and photos of a specific home or apartment complex.
Main features and security of the service
Functionality: Users can search for addresses, upload photos, save important objects to favorites, rate others' reviews, and report inappropriate content.
Basic functionality — searching, viewing, and adding reviews, saving addresses, and getting notified of new comments for a single address — is available for free. For users who want to receive notifications for multiple saved addresses, there is a paid Home Rate Premium subscription with a monthly or annual plan. You can view reviews even without creating an account.
