The government dismissed Yuriy Myronenko from the position of Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation.
This was announced by Taras Melnychuk, the permanent representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada, following the results of the government meeting on February 14.
Interestingly, the former head of the State Service for Special Communications, Yuriy Myronenko, was officially appointed Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation only on December 13, 2024, meaning he worked in this position for only two months.
When asked to comment on the reasons for Yuriy Myronenko’s dismissal, the press service of the Ministry of Digital Affairs responded to dev.ua that they could not comment on this issue yet.
Recall that until 2019, Myronenko held managerial positions in structural divisions of Pravex-Bank, UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group, etc. He also worked as the financial director of Concern Stirol, which is engaged in the production of fertilizers and nitrogen compounds. From 2010 to 2015, he worked as the general director of Diamond Sfir Group LLC, which was active in the fields of IT, logistics, construction, agriculture, etc.
Among his main tasks as head of the State Special Communications Service, Myronenko listed the supply of over 1.1 million drones to security and defense forces, as well as the implementation of a number of anti-corruption measures.
