During the last major rocket attack in Sumy, the programmer of «Sumyoblenergo» and master of sports Serhii Sukharev died.
According to DOU, Sukharev was a judge of the national category, played in the Sumy Oblast national team at orienteering competitions, developed the Orientyr orienteering program.
Serhii Sukharev was at home when the Russians hit the heating station located next to his house: as a result, the blast wave blew out the window, and a fragment of glass cut the man’s carotid artery.
«Always created something in the field of software. Thanks to his programs, working at Oblenergo was much easier. He really liked to ride a bicycle, although he had his own car. He and his wife Tanya always went to the country on bicycles. He loved nature», — said a close acquaintance of the family.
Sukharev was 70 years old at the time of his death, and he was born in the Russian city of Tomsk in the family of a military man. At the same time, according to another woman close to his family, after the start of a full-scale war, Sukharev broke off relations with his own brother, who was also a Russian soldier.
Serhii Sukharev is survived by his wife Tetyana, son Kyrylo, who defends Ukraine in the ranks of the Armed Forces, daughter Maria, three grandsons and a granddaughter.
