President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this during a joint press conference with the leaders of Norway and Finland after talks in Oslo on October 20.
The president discussed the Starlink/Starshield issues with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Zelensky hopes to speak with Rubio again within the next 48 hours about satellite communications, the supply of interceptor missiles, and intelligence sharing.
The president also spoke about negotiations on security guarantees for Ukraine and a possible trilateral meeting with Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin. US special representative Steve Witkoff is due to travel to St. Petersburg on October 21 to present Russia with the proposals he has developed.
