«In fact, we cannot understand the volume of his fees, we only see 49 million withdrawn from banks. And what was on the crypto wallets and cards, where he asked to transfer funds, bypassing banks, and what he collected through personal messages — we do not know,» she said in an interview with Babel.
Khudetska added that she had already found 14 people who systematically lent him money.
The journalist noted that she cannot say for sure whether Nazariy was a gambling addict, but he was definitely actively involved in the world of gambling, where he thoughtlessly spent money.
«A simple example, on one of the gaming sites he had skins — that is, just visual wrappers for games — worth about $50 thousand. People found it in his profiles, published links in the comments. This is an absolutely senseless waste of money, the price of which he himself never felt, because they were simply given to him,» Khudetska stated.
According to her, the Nazari cryptocurrency is indeed closely related to betting and online casinos, and transactions through exchangers are associated with these same platforms.
«His crypto wallets are connected to Russians, with whom he communicated on forums even after the annexation of Crimea began. There are many controversial points in the way he spoke with Russians on forums about the war, the Ukrainian language is a separate layer for research. I don’t even want to voice assumptions about where this money could have gone through Russian online casinos,» Khudetska expresses her thoughts.
The media outlet also contacted one of the employees of the Ukrainian eSports Club NAVI, whose communicator Nazariy introduced himself as, and learned from her that Gusakov did not actually work there, but simply received a monthly donation from the NAVI company.
At the same time, as Khudetska says, several users of the social network X with the nicknames «Ms. Yeblozavr» and «Fuck off 777» joined her in analyzing all these facts, which were later reported in the media in recent days.
As dev.ua reported, the National Police has initiated two criminal proceedings regarding the collection of funds for SMA patient Nazariy Gusakov, who is suspected of financial fraud. He left Ukraine on June 13.
