Smart glasses for OnlyFans live broadcasts have appeared

Mentra Live Camera Glasses are smart glasses that are presented as a gadget for live broadcasts. According to the developers, you can stream via the built-in cameras to many platforms. Among them are X, YouTube, Twitch, and OnlyFans.

There is no specific integration with OnlyFans here, but Mentra explicitly lists OnlyFans in the list of platforms where users can potentially launch a broadcast.

These glasses are open source, and therefore, they inherently provide much more freedom than their counterparts from the same Meta with its closed ecosystem of applications, writes Gizmodo.

Mentra Live Camera Glasses are designed exclusively for broadcasting, not for viewing content. The glasses do not have a display, and, according to the manufacturer, this is done intentionally - this solution significantly extends battery life. This allows the glasses to work longer than competitors, whose batteries quickly drain due to the power of bright screens.

The glasses will come with access to Mentra's own MiniApp Store, where you can download apps for simultaneous translation, memory training games, calendar integration for reminders, and much more.

The maximum video resolution is 1080p, and the viewing angle is 119 degrees. This corresponds to the performance of the first generation of Ray-Ban Meta AI glasses, but is inferior to the second generation, which is capable of shooting video in 3K. At the same time, the novelty is quite light - only 43 g, while the Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 weighs from 48 to 50 g. The declared battery life is 12 hours on a single charge, although this figure will vary depending on the intensity of use.

The Mentra Live Camera glasses cost $299, and they will appear on the US market on February 15. During 2026, they will be sold in other countries, which the manufacturer does not specify.
