Mobile communications in Ukraine rose to a record high in the first half of 2025. Here are the numbers
In the first half of 2025, the average income of mobile operators from one active SIM card amounted to UAH 135.6. In the same period last year, this figure was UAH 107. Thus, the average check increased by 26,7%. This is evidenced by the figures of statistics published by the National Commission for the Economy and Finance of Ukraine.

This is its largest increase since the start of the large-scale war.

Capital investments in telecommunications networks are also record high — UAH 13.3 billion in the first half of the year (UAH 8.7 billion in the same period in 2024).
At the same time, there were 47.9 million active SIM cards. That is , 1.6 million SIM cards less than in the same period a year ago.
Revenues from mobile communication services amounted to UAH 38.9 billion. This is 22,6% more than a year ago.
And revenues from home Internet services amounted to UAH 12.1 billion. This is 3% more than in the previous period.
The average bill for home Internet access services also increased, but not significantly: from UAH 229.7 to UAH 237.8. And the number of subscribers to this service decreased by 100 thousand lines to 8.4 million.
