Beetroot Academy, in partnership with the Susanne Hobohm Foundation, has opened a recruitment for the «Grow» project, an educational program that helps veterans and other socially vulnerable categories of Ukrainians acquire a modern profession and return to a civilian career.
Beetroot Academy, in partnership with the Susanne Hobohm Foundation, has opened a recruitment for the «Grow» project, an educational program that helps veterans and other socially vulnerable categories of Ukrainians acquire a modern profession and return to a civilian career.
The project provides 100 free places for veterans discharged from military service. Family members of veterans, prisoners of war, missing persons, or fallen defenders can also apply.
Internally displaced persons, people with disabilities and their caregivers, young people aged 17–25 from small settlements, single mothers and fathers, as well as Ukrainians who have returned from abroad or from other regions of Ukraine are also invited to participate.

Among them are specialties that are in demand both in the civilian technology sector and in industries working with embedded systems and solutions based on artificial intelligence.
The program provides a flexible learning format, faculty support, and professional development assistance. Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis, and selection results are sent via email.

Beetroot Academy is a Swedish-Ukrainian academy that has been training specialists in partnership with the market since 2014. The academy’s activities were a response to the consequences of the war: using education as a tool for recovery, the academy helps people build new careers. The Defense Tech direction grew out of the same logic: the market needed engineers, and a program was created to meet this demand.
