As Economic Truth writes, referring to the State Tax Service’s response to the request of People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak, the amount of income of Ukrainians for their content on the platform in 2023 is $131.75 million, which is $20 million more than in 2020-2022.
In 2023, 7,914 Ukrainians received income from activities on the platform, which is over 2,000 more than in the previous three years, because in 2020-2022, only 5,435 Ukrainians posted content on Onlyfans.
The publication calculated that the amount of income of Ukrainians from Onlyfans in 2023 amounted to UAH 4.89 billion in national currency, and if all taxes were paid from this amount, the state budget could receive more than UAH 953 million in personal income tax and military levy.
«The State Tax Service has already processed the relevant data on Ukrainians' income from Onlyfans and has begun sending them „letters of happiness“ demanding that they declare their income and pay taxes,» the EP writes.
In addition, on August 29 of this year, the Ukrainian tax authority appealed to the UK tax authority to obtain data on the earnings of Ukrainians on the Onlyfans platform for 2024. Ukraine has not yet received a response to this request.
The State Tax Service also reported that the amount of tax debt of Ukrainians for income received from Onlyfans in 2020-2022 is UAH 380 million.
